FAQs

Q1: How long will the peer review process take?

A: Manuscripts which have passed the initial screening will be sent to two or three referees to evaluate the content. The whole review process will take about one and a half month.

Q2: How can I know the status of my paper?

A: Please send your paper title and paper ID to editor@hrpub.org. The editorial assistant will give you a prompt response within 48 hours.

Q3: Where can I find a manuscript guideline and format specification?

A: Please click For Authors for reference and download a manuscript template which includes the most commonly used formatting specifications. The style menu options will meet what you need.

Q4: Why do I need to sign a copyright form?

A: To protect the rights and interests between authors and the publisher, authors are required to grant an exclusive licence to the publisher. Compliant with the open access policy, the publisher can reproduce, distribute, display and store the manuscript.

Q5: How many papers can an author submit and what are the restrictions?

A: Authors can submit unlimited different manuscripts to one journal, but it’s unacceptable to submit the same manuscript to different journals. If you are not sure about how to choose, refer to aims and scopes of relevant journals listed in journal index to confirm which journal is most suitable for your manuscript.

Q6: Are there any non-English language for writing?

A: Usually, our published articles are written in English. Please contact the editorial assistant to discuss how to deal with non-English papers by email (editor@hrpub.org).

Q7: What type of manuscripts will HRPUB journals publish?

A: We published a variety of academic and scientific papers, including research articles, review articles, case reports etc.

Q8: What methods of payment do you accept?

A: HRPUB provides a variety of methods of payment. We accept payment by check, PayPal or telegraphic transfer (T/T).

Q9: What are manuscripts file formats?

A: HRPUB only accepts manuscripts prepared in the following formats: MS Word(2003 or above), LaTex.

Q10: Do HRPUB journals have impact factors?

A: As a new publisher, the impact factor is unavailable at present. The impact factor reflects the average number of citations to recent articles published by the journals during the last two years.

Q11: Are HRPUB journals indexed in bibliographic databases?

A: Most of journals are indexed by CrossRef and Google Scholar. A digital object identifier (DOI) is used to uniquely identify each article as an electronic document.

Q12: How long will the submitted manuscripts be published?

A: The publication process from initial submission to final publication will take about 3 months. The sooner your manuscript has been revised, the sooner it will be published rapidly.

Q13: How much is Horizon Research Publishing charging?

A: In order to encourage the long-term scientific research, authors are eligible for various discounts on Article Processing Charges(APC).

Q14: Can online journals be listed in the electronic holdings of the library?

A: We encourage librarians to list our journals among their library's electronic journal holdings. If you have technical problems, please contact our Editorial Team by email (editor@hrpub.org).

Q15: How do I submit my paper to HRPUB journals?

A: We have successfully developed an Online Manuscript Tracking System. The submission process is divided into the following 6 steps:

Step 1: Login Manuscript Submission System

To submit a new manuscript, firstly you must login into the manuscript submission system. If you are not yet registered, please click here to create an account.

Step 2: Select a Journal

We have published over 50 journals covering a wide range of academic disciplines. Please refer to aims and scopes of relevant journals listed in journal index to confirm which journal is most suitable for your manuscript.

Step 3: Fill in Manuscript Information

This section is specially designed to search manuscripts more effectively. Please fill in the basic information of your manuscript such as title, keywords and abstract etc.

Step 4: Fill in Author's Info

This section is specially designed to facilitate the connection with authors. Please fill in detailed personal information of all contributors, such as name, affiliation and email etc.

Step 5: Approve Submission

Check all the previous content and approve submission. A manuscript ID which is used for tracking and inquiring about the status of submitted manuscripts will be assigned if your manuscript has been successfully submitted.
