Chemical and Materials Engineering(CEASE PUBLICATION)
Chemical and Materials Engineering is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original and high-quality research papers in all areas of chemical and materials engineering. As an important academic exchange platform, scientists and researchers can know the most up-to-date academic trends and seek valuable primary sources for reference.
After consideration, we have decided to cease publication of this journal at the end of 2022. This journal will no longer accept submissions and subscriptions from 2023. All published articles will remain available in Archive at https://www.hrpub.org/journals/jour_archive.php?id=55

All the open access articles published by HRPUB will be immediately free for everyone to read, copy, download and distribute under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY) or the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License (CC BY-NC). Authors retain all copyright interest or it is retained by other copyright holder, as appropriate and agree that the manuscript remains permanently open access in HRPUB's site under the terms of the Creative Commons License (CC BY or CC BY-NC). HRPUB shall have the right to use and archive the content for the purpose of creating a record and may reformat or paraphrase to benefit the display of the record. Permissions for PublisherTo protect the rights and interests of both parties, Horizon Research Publishing(HRPUB) requires an exclusive license that clearly stipulates our rights and the specific rights retained by authors. We ask the corresponding author to grant this exclusive license to HRPUB on behalf of all authors. Horizon Research Publishing agrees to publish the manuscript and has the right:
(1) to publish, reproduce, distribute, display and store the manuscript;
(2) to translate the manuscript into other languages;
(3) to create adaptations, reprints, and create summaries, extracts and/or, abstracts of the manuscript;
(4) to create any other derivative work(s) based on the manuscript;
(5) to include electronic links from the manuscript to third party material;
(6) to share and give publicity to the manuscript on academic platforms;
(7) to authorize HRPUB to take such steps at the author(s)’ own expense, in the copyright owner's name and on the author(s)’ behalf if the author(s) believe that a third party is infringing or is likely to infringe copyright in the manuscript, legal proceedings will be taken;
(8) to license any third party to do any or all of the above;
(9) to grant rights to others for commercial purposes.
Permissions for AuthorsAuthors are allowed to use their own articles without seeking permission from HRPUB. Authors retain the following rights to:
(1) Post a PDF of their article to fellow researchers or students for scholarly or educational purposes;
(2) Make a reasonable number of copies for personal use. This includes the contributor’s own teaching purposes;
(3) Republish part or all of the article in a book or other publication edited by the author (except for multiple contributions in the same book or publication);
(4) Use the illustrations and research data in their own future works;
(5) Use the article in course packs or compilation in the authors’ institution;
(6) Use the work for further research;
(7) Present the work at meetings but avoid duplicate publication;
(8) Reuse all or part of the published manuscript in other works on condition that the original work and source is appropriately cited;
(9) Share the article on academic websites;
(10) Retain patent and trademark rights.
The author(s) warrant and represent that:(1) The author(s) are the exclusive authors and owners of the copyright in the material. If the material includes materials of others, the author(s) have obtained the permission of the owners of the copyright in all such materials. Copies of all such permissions have been sent to the editorial or publisher’s office.
(2) The author(s) qualify for authorship, and the manuscript or its equivalent has not been submitted for publication elsewhere. If it is accepted for publication by Horizon Research Publishing , it or its equivalent cannot be submitted for publication elsewhere.
(3) All of the facts contained in the material are true and accurate.
(4) Conflict of interest is declared clearly in the manuscript.
(5) Nothing in the material is obscene, libellous, violates any right of privacy or infringes any intellectual property rights (including copyright, patent or trademark).
